The annual Building Bridges Coalition Interfaith Walk will start and end at the Unitarian Church of Staten Island.
The program will begin at 2 pm at the church with a Welcome, history of Building Bridges and Purpose of the Day. Several speakers will talk about ministering to Naval Personnel since we are walking to historical Sailor’s Snug Harbor.  Rabbi David Bauman will speak about ministering to Naval Personnel before we begin the Walk to Snug Harbor.  Prayers and music will be included in the pre-walk program.
There will be meditation and poetry at the Tuscan and Healing Gardens as we walk through them.
Then we will come back to the Unitarian Church where Rev. Marsh Drege will speak abut the Seaman’s Society. Prayers will be offered and Rev. Susan Karlson  will speak about the History of Unitarian Universalism and UCSI.  We will have time for questions and answers and then a discussion on how Building Bridges can continue to make further contributions to enhance hope, knowledge and understanding to the Interfaith community of Staten Island.
A reception will follow with time for fellowship and refreshments of kosher cake, fruit and beverages. UCSI will supply the coffee.
