Sunday Service April 5, 2015

“All My Best
 Friends Were …”
Apr 05 FBSwastikas at Vanderbilt University
In The Pulpit: Rev. Darrell Berger
This worship service celebrates Easter  and Passover.
 In 1970, I was elected
the first non-Jewish president
of Alpha Epsilon Pi, a Jewish fraternity
at Vanderbilt University.
While there were simple reasons
not to support fraternities even then,
AEPi really was an exception.
It was the first fraternity there
to have both Jewish and Christian members.
In 1969, it pledged the first black brother
and recently it pledged the first openly gay brother.
On March 14, 2015, three swastikas
were round painted on its house.
All are welcome. Service begins 10:45 a.m.
Nursery,Toddler Care, and Sunday School available .
312 Fillmore Street at Clinton Avenue
one block east of Snug Harbor
 .
