What: Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day, at an Irish Pub Dinner & Beer Tasting and “A Lotta Malarkey: A Storytelling Contest for Liars”
When: Saturday, March 15th. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for beer tasting.
Where: Unitarian Church of Staten Island, 312 Fillmore Street at Clinton Ave, one block from the east gate of Snug Harbor, Staten Island, NY 10310
The festivities will include:
Beer Tasting from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Church Library. Enter through the Main Door. Admission to the tasting is $15.00 per adult (must be 21 years of age to enter)
Pub Buffet Dinner in the Church Hall at 6:30 p.m.
Admission to the dinner is:
$ 7.00 per Child (under 14)
$ 15.00 per Adult (14 & up)
$ 30.00 per Family of four (minimum1 child under 18) soft drinks included.
Storytelling Contest: “A Lotta Malarkey: A Storytelling Contest for Liars”, hosted by Hey Viv!
Discerning diners will enjoy a rollicking competition for the tallest tale, and will decide who will carry home the coveted Golden Potato Award. Sign up at the door for a chance to tell your-less-than-five minute whopper.
This party was a sell-out last year! Don’t miss the hilarity, the brews, and Emerald Isle specialties such as Shepard’s Pie, Colcannon, and vegetarian choices.
